The controller monitors the water flow and pressure in the pipeline, and automatically starts or stops the pump according to the changes in your water supply system. It also has safety measures to prevent the pump from running dry, backflow or overheating. When the kitchen faucet is turned off, the controller will continuously monitor the water pressure for 6 seconds and then stop the pump, to prevent the pump from cycling in short time. It will restart if the pressure drops below 1.5Bar/21psi.

Two important tips for using this product in a home pressure boosting application: 1) A water pressure regulator (bought separately) must be installed before the inlet of the pump if you use it to pressurize tap water (P≥21psi). 2) It is not recommended for houses taller than 50ft, otherwise the pump may not restart automatically.

The real-time monitoring of water flow prevents the pump from running dry. The built-in check valve and motor thermal protector further enhance the safety and reliability. The self-priming 0.6HP stainless steel shallow well pump with 10ft cord can provide a max flow rate of 700 gallons per hour and a maximum pressure of 58psi. The 1" NPT discharge and inlet with a swivel connector allow for quick and easy installation.

Why does this 0.6HP pump have the same performance as other 1.6HP pumps? In most cases, the greater the power, the stronger the performance. Installation and maintenance are very simple. The necessary accessories for installation are already provided. Basic models have only one removable handle, while the mechanical switch, pressure gauge (A model) and automatic electronic switch (B model) are all easy to install and remove. Apart from motor or impeller damage, other conventional issues can be resolved by replacing the parts yourself.

If the pump fails to pump water or the flow is not steady, first try filling the pump head with water. If that doesn't work, check if the bottom valve is leaking. If the flow is very small, it may be caused by insufficient water supply - check the water level of your well and extend the water pipe if necessary.
